Oxygen concentrators take in air from the patients’ local environment. This ambient air can contain millions of particles, some of which will be sub-micron. Particles of this size are able to enter and clog the working components of the device, or enter the lungs of the patient. Our range of filters and pre-filters helps to protect both the Oxygen Concentrator and the patient from particulate matter and the risk of infection, whilst also functioning as a noise dampener to reduce the sound emitted from the machine.
